Just call me Landlady!

After just a few hours I got TONS of responses from my Craigslist ad about my condo. I have chosen a renter and it's going to work out great for both of us! She is a University of Michigan senior who is coming here for the summer to do an internship. She is "desperate" to find a place and wasn't too picky about anything. I sent her a lease and she's paying me for 3 months! I'll be saving LOTS of money which is awesome and she'll be taking care of my kitty for me.

I know all you animal freaks are thinking, "Oh my GOD I can't believe she's leaving her cat behind!" but it's really no different then sending your kids to camp for the summer now is it? To be honest I've been severely neglecting my cat over the last 4 months and having someone stay at the house is going to be much better for her. I gave my renter a $100 break on the rent for helping me out. I'm sure Dinah will just appreciate having someone there to lick in the middle of the night.

I am renting my condo furnished so my tenant will get to use my furniture(obviously), sheets, towels, dishes, and even my cleaning supplies. I think that's a pretty good deal, don't you? She'll also have my pool, parking space, and ice tea maker. I ask you, does it get better then that?

I am taking my computer with me to my new home so I'll have blogging time at night now. I'll be able to write more frequently which is what I'd like. I will also be able to use my yahoo email account regularly instead of catching up with everyone during the day here at work. One day I'm sure they'll discover that the majority of my work inbox is filled with personal e-mails!

I LOVE CRAIGSLIST.COM!

Liz, What funny about that, was that after the cruise, I told chris I was going to make the boys shirts that said "For sale by owner". Ha ha.

I haven't seen kids advertised on Craigslist but you never know! I heard child slavery is coming back in style.
