Warning: TMI
I'm getting Alased. What's that you ask? I am getting my bikini line lasered so that I don' t have to bother with shaving, bumps, ingrown hairs, or unsightly razor burn. I am THRILLED. I am also scared. I can't imagine someone taking a tiny laser to each and every hair near my fee fee!Decisions...decisions! I went in for my free consultation last week and learned that there's not just one type of bikini line treatment. No. There are 3. You can get the Regular Bikini, the Modified Bikini, or the Brazilian. Basically the less hair you end up with the more money you pay. After my appointment I took my frightened hair follicles and my start up packet home to read through all my options. I've decided to go with a version of the BRAZILIAN! I'm not going to come out looking like a bald 6 year old but just nicely "cleaned up" if you will. Sure it's more money but it lasts a life time people! No more razors near my cha-cha ever.
If you want to learn more about how you can become hairless too you can go to the Alase website by clicking here.
If everything goes well with my fee fee I'm thinking about doing my pits next. In my opinion it's an investment. I'll be saving in razors & waxing. Right?
The treatment is going to cost me tons of money which, I'll pay in three timely installments. I'll need 5 sessions of treatment. Altogether it will take me a year to complete. I'll keep you posted as I go through this process. I intend to document it very vividly so you can enjoy my hair removal right along with me!

Oh my gosh, that is SO cool! I would LOVE to get that done!!! I agree with you that it's a total investment!! It's SO worth it!! I get waxed once a month and I love it but even that is a pain because it GROWS back!!! When I was in VA (in Alexandria, actually, what a coinky-dink!) in October, I got a full blown Brazilian...I have never felt pain like that. The woman asked right before starting if I had taken aspirin. Uh, no, I get waxed all the time, why would I? Uh, okay, now I see! OW! That woman went places with her wax that even my gynecologist hasn't been! I think she removed hair right off of my freakin' internal organs!! I was SWOLLEN when I walked outta there 45 minutes later, I couldn't even cross my legs! But the effect -- GORGEOUS and worth every ounce of pain. That would ROCK to get it lasered away FOREVER!!! Except, of course, a small "landing strip." :) It's all about the landing strip. I want EVERY detail about this!
I made my first appointment for June 1st. I wish you were here so you could hold my hand!! Since you're nations away it just helps that you'll be my cheerleader!! I'm really excited! Eric is going to pitch in a few bucks as an early bday gift. SO EXCITED!! I'll keep you up to day!
If it works, hell, maybe I'll come to the States and get it done and spread my treatment out over 2 years! hee hee! How much moolah are we talking here? I hear a cash register -- cha ching! That ROCKS that Eric is helping...he is DEFINITELY in for the big time if he's contributing to the cause!! :) What an awesome guy!
We have shared a lot in our 12-year friendship, but I'm not sure that this, this of all things, is something I wanted to know!!!
Loves!!!
Jess -- I'm all about the landing pad. I came home and told Eric to draw on the guide what he wants. I figure if he's going to be looking at it for the rest of his life he'd better have a say, right?
Lizzy - - it's no worse then the "first" I had the other night that I called to tell you about.....shhhh
Jess/All - I meant "landing STRIP" but I had a few glasses of wine before I wrote that.....
Bri - So glad you're "down". See you in Octobre chica!
uhmmm... I... uh. whu? Is there... how? I think I'll keep quiet on this one.
o yeah, I remember what I wanted to say. This post was better then the one about constipation.
I have to be honest! I blog about the highlight of my day so if constipation and hair removal is my highlight then so be it!
