Picture this

Me.

Me in baggy plaid comfy pants (oversized), new slippers with martini design, black long sleeve t-shirt (oversized), red stripped knee socks & glasses. Got it? Ok now add one zit, bottom right (your left) chin, with wad of toothpaste covering it. Now keep that vision and let me tell you that I JUST BOUGHT Crest Whitening PLUS scope so it’s BRIGHT BLUE toothpaste. Now add cold sore, on lower lip, with goop on it. Hot huh?

It gets better….

Now add hairy legs because I haven’t shaved in two weeks so that I could partake in the following….

I decided to experiment with body wax in the privacy of my own home. I have never had anything waxed, except my eyebrows (ok maybe one other place that I shant say), and was curious if a home wax kit was one of life’s little secrets I’d not yet uncovered. I won’t get in to too much detail because as I mentioned above it was a private affair but I will leave you with these few bullet points of thought:

-Waxing does hurt
-Waxing hurts in some places more then others
-Wax is sticky
-Wax should be spread on skin in a THIN layer
-Wax really is sticky
-When waxing don’t try to get fancy unless you’re experienced
-Be prepared to wax yourself in the kitchen if that’s where you keep your microwave
-Removal of any remaining wax can be both painful and difficult

I'm not prepared to talk about any more on this topic..

strange, it sounds like you already "experimented" with the waxing thing, how weird that you wouldn't experiment with your legs first, hope they turned out smooth and sexy
is it worth the time and pain?

I've never expirimented with a home wax kit before last night. That's why I had a bunch of issues thereby writing this here blog.

I didn't get done with my legs. I currently have a 2"X4" bald spot on my right shin. I didn't go through with the whole let as it would have taken FOREVER AND I think I'm a shaver.

Shaving my legs is not as much of a sexy thing for me as it is about feeling like a woman. Hairy legs are socially unexceptable and when mixed with a cold sore and big zit thier especially bad for the self esteem. I'll be mowing my legs tonight.

but I love the Jessica that is inside, not outside. By the way, I think a lot of men would like a natural woman, hairy and all!! LOL

Sounds like how I dress every day to go to work. What? There's something wrong with that?

I find that the only part of my body I am willing to wax at home is my eyebrows. Its still painful, but not more painful than doing at the salon, and it saves you quite a bit of money. Yes, thin application of the wax is crutial, but it can't be too thin and its best to apply evenly!
