Eric sent me this neato article on Chinchilla's. You don't have to read it because I've already picked out the most interesting facts about Chinchilla's for you.Allow me to share.
- Chinchilla fur is considered the softest in the world
- Chinchilla's must regularly bathe in dust or volcanic ash to remove moisture from thier fur
- Chichilla's have the highest fur density of any land animal - more then 20,000 hairs per square centimeter!
- Thier fur is so dense that they don't get skin parasites -- because the little parasite would suffocate
- Humans grow one hair per folicle while the Chinchilla grows fifty per folicle
- Chinchilla's are monogomous and live in pairs when in the wild
- Chinchilla wives have a pregnancy that lasts 111 days!!!
- In captivity Chinchilla's live about 20 years

I'll bet they are so soft! AW. I'm not an advocate of wearing fur but I'm a hipocrate, because I wear leather.
YOu should get willy a willetta, and just have her fixed. THen they can live together forever and be happy.

Oh, and have you noticed his "dirty habit" yet?
He's been eating all the fruit out of the food dish and none of the healthy stuff. He's got a tad bit o'the runs. I've grounded him from fruit and he's now eating just pellets. I hope to have him in tip top condition in no time. Which "dirty habbit" is that? He's got a few.
