El-Broke-O
Zit update: Slowly fading but I’m now able to contain it under a thin layer of concealer.Cold Sore update: Painful & ugly with bright white blob of prescription ($26 dollar) medicine on top. This thing is sucking my will to live.
Christmas Card update: Done!
Last year I had about 42 people on my Christmas card list. This year I felt I could take a few people off. Not that I don’t like them any more (ok maybe some of them I don’t) but I either don’t ever get a card from them, or the only time I even communicate with them is through Christmas cards, and so I didn’t think it would hurt to highlight and delete them off my excel spreadsheet.
Scrooge? No! Yo es el-broke-O. Due to the high balance on my Master Card, and the recently implemented JB, I am having a hard time coming up with money to buy my family Christmas gifts this year. Even though I’ve scheduled a few baby-sitting jobs this month to help my pathetic situation I figured I’d save a few dollars in cutting the list down as well. Well there goes my $2.59 of savings because somehow I ended up sending out 49 cards!

What chris and I would like most of all for christmas, is a coupon for a week of free dog sitting. Like, when we go on vacation, you would come stay at the house with the dogs for a week. That's free, and its easy to make a coupon on your computer.
hey mamma, not sure that's a good idea, knowing jess, you might come back to NO dogs, as much as she might like you, you know how she is with the dogs...don't you?
Momma - If you didn't read my earlier blog titled "Dog Sitting" then let me refresh your memory. I DON'T LIKE DOG RESPONSIBILITY (except @ Deannie & Dean's). it's no offense to you, or your husband, but I can't stand having to walk, feed, and be home to let out the dog. Not to mention if you add the 1 hour (+) commute, I'd rather shoot myself. Sorry! I like my home so it's not like I'm looking for another place to just hang out in. Ya know? If I lived with Mom I'd probably take you up on it so that I could have my own house for a weekend....anyway....I'd suggest hiring a dog walker. OR take them to Deannie and Dean's like I did! (Just kidding!)
Guess I didn't understand your impatience with the pooches, sorry for suggesting. Thought it would be a nice time for you, but I guess you do have your own home. Well, then you can just buy me something. So there!
Tony thinks I'm a Christmas card nazi (ala Soup Nazi from Seinfeld) because I take people off my list if I don't get one from someone two years in a row that I send one to. I say it's all about reciprocity.
Sorry, Jess, you're not getting a card this Christmas. You'll get an E-card...but please don't take me off the list...next year I will be back to the Christmas card rush as usual. I might actually get Gabby's kindergarten graduation and her 1st grade pictures sent out though...hahaha...well, I'll probably get them together, and then you know me...I'll make it to the post office in another month.
J - Being social butterflies it's important for us to keep the list fresh. If we sent cards out to every person we've met our list would be as long as Santa's!
Lizzy - What's new! Yours is in the mail. :0)
You are so right. I mean, this is a fast paced world we live in, you know? I don't need to clutter up the post office with cards to half the freakin' population. So, see, it's really a Christmas spirit thing, helping postal workers get home in time for Christmas.
jessie, again I am looking for an updated blog. Its been since thursday and I need something to read on my 1 and 1/2 hour bus ride home....can ya help a sister out?
