Huh.....

Home again home again jiggidy jig

I'm home from the tropics of Iowa! The trip was great and Iowa was surprisingly beautiful! It even snowed one day while we were there. I also had some of the best food I've ever eaten and that was a BIG surprise.

Now I'm home and Eric's in Vegas. We missed each other by a few hours and I'm so missing him to death. Each time I think of him my stomach lurches and I get a knot in my throat. I know distance makes the heart grow fonder and all that blah-blah stuff but I'd at least like a hug!

I have pictures from Iowa but I haven't uploaded them yet. I got back yesterday and had a bunch of stuff to do so...I didn't get to that. I'll have school for the next few nights so I may or may not be able to get them uploaded. I'm going to try my darndest!

I saw Brodie yesterday for the first time in what felt like FOREVER! I got to put him down to sleep twice, give him a bath, and feed him cereal (which is new for me. he just started eating that). I smothered him with love and I feel much better today. I think if I could tuck Brodie in my purse and carry him around with me all day I'd not miss Eric so much.

Just under 2 weeks before our 1 year anniversary. It's been the best year of my flippin life. I think January 29th will be my new New Years! When Eric and I got back together was when my life started to turn around and I'm so happy to have turned a new leaf. I just don't want my leaf in Vegas is all.
