Huh.....

Hola!

Yo soy Jessica! Son las dos y media de la tarde.

Pretty good, eh?

My leaf is still in Las Vegas and I am starting to sleep poorly. The dog has taken his place in our bed and she insists on laying perpendicular to me, kicking me in the back all night.

This morning I woke up extra early to do my hair and put on some fancy work clothes because we have a meeting in our office today. Once I'm all done up (minus the make-up I had yet to put on) I take Lady for a walk, in the rain, and accidentally locked myself out of the house.

Dripping with rain, I tie up the dog and walk around back to retrieve the spare key. Scaling one wall, and climbing a 4 foot fence in my dress shoes, I finally get back into the condo. With no time to spare I unhook the dog and run out the door with my make-up in hand. No time! No time!

I've accepted the fact that my hair is flat and sticky. And that I am 75% made-up; missing only my eye shadow and mascara. I look like a Geisha. I am trying trying trying to look on the bright side!

Bright Side Moments/thoughts:

I had a big burrito for lunch (paid for by the company)
I FINALLY got my history book in today
I wrote my extra credit assignment for History on Martin Luther King Junior
The leaf called me to say he's having fun
I just found out I can do my Spanish labs on line instead of going to the campus
I have successfully avoided all mirrors to keep up the denial of my Geisha~ness
ALL the truffles from Christmas time have been eaten in the office and I'm not pumping chocolate through my veins.
I have a date with a friend I haven't seen in a long time this Sunday
My bills are all paid
My car is running
My leaf comes home tomorrow
