Huh.....

Here is wedding #5 of 7 in 2004. It was a pleasure and an honor to witness Leslie & Chris's wedding. We've known each other for about 16 years and although she's 8 inches shorter then me people still think we're sisters. Leslie is half Chinese and have American while I am just plain ole' white American. When we were little people used to say we looked like sisters all the time. Yesterday we heard it over and over again and each time it made us giggle. We met at Sembach Air Force Base in Germany in 1989 and when Leslie moved back to the states all the kids were concerned as to why I didn't move with my sister. I guess they figured Leslie sold me to the Veselys'. In some ways we really are like sisters and without sounding too mushy - yesterday was a beautiful day to remember. Aside from the overwhelming feeling of wanting to puke from nerves, mixed with the feeling of being thankful for the vent at the church that was shooting up my overheated dress, I was also honored, proud, and elated!! I love you, Les & Chris! Woo-Hoo!!
