Happy New Year!
Well here we are in 2006. This May it will be 10 years since my high school graduation. I've done lots of growing up since then. I've been through 8 mailing addresses. About 4 boyfriends. 5 jobs. 4 cars. 1 arrest. 1 Christian Cult experience. 1 purchased home. 3 starts of college.......that's a lot. I'm happy to say I'm glad to be here with my current (and last) boyfriend, in school, with a great job, and wonderful friends. I'm excited to see what 2006 has to offer. I hope it's filled with lots of good grades!
Eric and I celebrated New Years 2006 together. Since we've been friends for 8 years -- I'm sure we've been at the same New Years party once or twice -- but we've never been able to kiss at Midnight. Our celebration was much calmer then my celebrations of past years. Instead of heading out for a wild night of bar hopping or keg parties -- we made dinner reservations at one of our local Japanese steak houses. It was only complete because we were able to have that meal with our good friends Deannie and Dean. We then met up with John and Claudia at our house for a night of Champagne and a board game. We played Scene It -- ever played it? I without one doubt SUCK at trivia games -- but I always enjoy learning new things. I think I got one answer right for our team. I've also found that drinking Champagne whilst playing trivia games is not good for the overall team score.
I have pictures of the night but they're at home. I did download them on to my computer though so Step A is complete. Sending you back a week ago I have pictures from the "blast from the past" happy hour I went to. Check em' out.
here is a picture of Dad and I. Dad is looking mighty Christmasy if you ask me!
I used to baby-sit those two children on the right. Do I look that much older then them?

You know there were a whole lot of pics that had me in them too. You could add one of those. Or am I too beautiful for your blog?
You need to upload the 2 pictures we took when I was there...ok, you probably need to crop them up, too.
