Yes, that's me, Mrs. Jones.

We're on our honeymoon and I'm finally able to get in touch with the ciber world for a mere $10 day! What the hell?

Prelim pictures of the fabulous wedding on this here blog:

More to come later when the husband and I get home.

So we honeymooned in Tennessee....I know you think that nuts....."Why didn't they pick something tropical?"....at the time of planning I was going to be in school 3 nights a week. Now, I'm not. So we left on Tuesday to Gatlinburg, TN and did the white trash carnival type life style which encompassed lots of arcades, go-carts, haunted houses, and yes --- laser tag (I won!). The BEST of my hillbilly expirience is that we BUNGEE JUMPED! I rock -- plain and simple. Seeing Eric jump off the crane like an escapee frog was good but doing the frog jump myself was SO RAD!

We're in Nashville now, after hanging out with Eric's "Tennessee Family" for the evening, which consists of his 3 cousins and their 10 children, most of whom are red heads. We took a family member quiz on the way: Lilly, Jimmy, Chris, Leah, Seth, Connor, Kyle, Sarah, Molly, and Bryant. I got the kids down -- knowing which parents they belong to is another story! The kids, ranging in ages from 15mos to 13, liked me. Some of which even asked for 2nd and 3rd hugs before I left.

IN OTHER NEWS! I'm creating a new blog. I see it only fitting since I am a new person....or at least have a new name. Mrs. Jones. So our new blog will be posted on Huh.... in the next few days. I have to go sell myself to save up the money to afford cyber access first.

Love ya'll

Muah!

Pet Baby

Here are some pictures of my weekend with my walking toddler. It brings a whole new demension to baby-sitting for Brodie. For one thing he's in to everything! And then he's walking off with it!

Here are some pictures of what Brodie got in to while I was trying to tend to the dog's collar.

The bachelorette Party Phase 1

At first we went to a bunch of vineyards as a group. It was a blast!

Soon To Be Mrs. Jones

Carrie looks like she has something up her sleeve here -- but -- well she probably does, actually.

This is my sister and my oldest friend, Leslie - just THRILLED to be stuffed in a hot van!

Here is Deannie trying to kiss Melanie -- and Carrie looks jealous but I think she's just thinking about how drunk she'll be by the end of the night.

Here is Deannie -- laughing at me. I think Carrie told her something really mean!

This is what happened when we got home. This sweaty, prickly, backed man attacked me!

Elf baby

Brodie just turned 1 on July 16th and Holly sent me a text message last night that said he walked from the living room to the kitchen -- which is a LONG way. Here are som pics of our little toddler.

Here is a picture of elf baby. I'm not sure why he's making that face -- he went through this intense nostril flaring phase. He's grown in to a much softer, adorable scrunchy nose smile phase now.

Here is a picture of me, Holly, and Elf Baby at the pool. He LOVES the water!

Here is evil elf baby showing new and scary teeth.!!

!This is Brodie's 1 year portrait! So handsome.!

Premarrital Beating...I mean Counseling

Premarrital Counseling is interesting. I think maybe more for me then most couples because my soon to be brother-in-law is actually doing the counseling. I'm getting the feeling this is a mistake.

I find that premarrital couseling is a very unique way to dive in to issues, or tough spots, in your relationship that are typically (and comfortably) over looked and under the surface -- and bring them to the surface like a shiny zit of life. Leaving me feeling small.

22 Days to go

22 days to go!

Last night I saw some stupid car commercial that was advertising it's safety based on side impact air bags. At first you have no idea what the commercial is about. There is a nice looking couple in a car, driving down the road, discussing the movie they just saw. Then BAM! out of the middle of no where they get smacked in to by a car driving really fast.

My heart stopped.

I quickly sent a text message to Eric telling him how much I love him, and to drive carefully on his way home from band practice, in small abbreviated words.

It's odd how the closer we get to the wedding the more precious his life is to me. I've known that I love Eric for a long time but for the first time it's sinking in that this is the person you've chosen to spend THE REST OF YOUR LIFE with and if that person was to die -- it'd FUCK YOU UP. Bad.

It's my worst nightmare -- losing Eric.

On Monday I got an e-mail from a woman who works in our company explaining that her assistant, someone I didn't know personally but I've worked with over the phone for the last six years, will not be in the office for some time because her husband was killed suddenly at work last Friday. Her husband worked at home but went in on Friday to lend an extra hand. I believe he worked for the fire department. Anyway - he was electrocuted at work -- and suddenly on a Friday afternoon he's dead.

After I heard that I picked up the phone and called Eric and said "I love you I love you I love you" to which he replied "I know..." proudly. HOW SCARY to think that I could lose him like that?

I do try not to think about those types of things because I realize it's dumb to worry about something that hasn't happened much less something that might never happen. But I really hope we die of old age together..... at the same moment...and in our sleep.....and holding hands. Is that too much to ask for?

Honeymoon

We planned on going on our official honeymoon in March when I'm on spring break. But after some thought we decided to go to Ireland in March but also to go on a mini honeymoon to Nashville, TN. We're driving down together and we're going to see some sites on the way. Then we're staying someplace nice in Nashville and we're also stopping by to see some of Eric's family. I can't wait.

I've never been to Nashville! I hope I get to see Will Hoge and The Dixie Chicks!
